FlickmationHelper 2.0 is out now, go download it over at the FlickmationHelper page.

FlickmationHelper is a Java application you run on your computer. It helps you download and upload (Flickmation only) flickbooks from and to your device. It can then turn them into video files you can share with the world.

FlickmationHelper 2.0 preview

A preview of FlickmationHelper 2.0 is now available. It allows you to download your flickbooks from Flickmation 3.0 and FlickmationLite 3.0. and export them as AVI video files. It does not support playback with sound within FlickmationHelper or uploading to Flickmation.

The full release of FlickmationHelper 2.0 will be available soon.

Flickmation 3.0 is out

It has been awhile coming but Flickmation 3.0 is now available in the iTunes App Store.

Version 3.0 has lots of new features including:

  • A redesigned user interface that is easier and faster to use.
  • Add sound effects to four soundtracks bring even more life to your animations.
  • Create flicks and reuse them in your flickbooks. Flicks have a hierarchical structure, being made from up to sixteen parts. This structure means that moving/rotating/scaling a part will cause any parts below it in the hierarchy to be similarly transformed.
  • Flicks layers – flicks layers allow you to add flicks to your animations and then control them by setting keyframes and defining the paths they move along.
  • A timeline view of your animation making it easy to coordinate sound effects and your animation.

FlickmationHelp is being updated

The current version of Flickmationhelper (version 1.2.1) does not Flickmation 3.0 and FlickmationLite 3.0. An update is being worked upon and will be available soon.

ColorsDraw 1.2 released

November 25th, 2009

ColorsDraw is the Java application/applet for rendering Colors! (the DS and iPhone/iPod Touch drawing app) .drw files on your computer.

You can find the latest release over on the Colors! Gallery download page or on the ColorsDraw development page.

New in version 1.2:

  • Export drawing sequence as a series of PNG files
  • Able to generate big AVI files

Flickmation 2.1 is out

November 24th, 2009

Flickmation version 2.1 is now available on the iTunes Store.

New things in this version include:

  • Uploadable brushes – create your own brushes with which to draw.
  • Opacity – change the opacity of your brush strokes and image pasting.

Version 2.1 of FlickmationLite is coming soon.
